Laxmi Dental Limited’s initial public offering (IPO) has entered the second day of the bidding process today, January 14. The IPO opened on Monday, January 13 and will close on Wednesday, January 15. On the first day, the Laxmi Dental IPO received 5.30 times subscription.
The price band of Laxmi Dental IPO has been fixed at ₹407-428 per share. The issue is worth ₹698.06 crore, which includes a fresh issue of equity shares worth ₹138 crore and sale of 1.31 crore equity shares worth ₹560.06 crore by promoters and other shareholders.

Sameer Kamlesh Merchant
Promoter, Managing Director, and CEO, is responsible for the overall strategy, operations, and financial performance of the Company. With over 20 years of experience, he leads digital and technological transformation initiatives. He received the ICONS Certificate from The Economic Times for his contribution to Dentistry in 2020-2021.
Sumona Chakravarti
Non-Executive Director (Nominee), is the representative of OrbiMed Asia II Mauritius Limited. She holds a B.Tech in Biotechnology and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Finance. With 10 years of experience, she has previously worked at Avendus Capital, Equirus Capital, and Verity Knowledge Solutions.
Rajesh Shashikant Dalal
Non-Executive, Independent Director, holds a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Madras and has 34 years of experience. She has previously worked at OrbiMed Advisors and Johnson & Johnson.
Anjana Rajendra Grewal
Non-Executive, Independent Director, holds a PhD in Arts and has 23 years of experience. She is a Professor at SDA Bocconi Asia Centre and has previously worked at Birla Sun Life Insurance, Global Trust Bank, ANZ Grindlays Bank, and Colgate-Palmolive.
Divesh Ghanshyam Chawla
Non-Executive, Independent Director, holds a degree in Computer Engineering and an MBA in Insurance and Finance. He has over 15 years of experience and has worked with Client Associated and Universal Sompo General Insurance. He has received awards for professional achievements and social contributions.
